Members of the Stellar team have, in the past, been involved in and taken the lead on contracts to manage a range of leadership and management/organisational development programmes on behalf of sponsoring organisations.
Find below three case studies, which provide examples of Stellar Leadership’s experience working with local government, the pharmaceuticals industry and third sector.
Case Study: Local Government
Associates within Stellar Leadership have been working with local government for many years and in 2004 were asked to design a new approach to performance management that incorporated a strong leadership dimension. This led to the People Improve Performance initiative. The proposition was that ‘people improve performance’ and therefore the key to continuous improvement lay in a leadership development programme that engaged, energised and empowered people.

Case Study: Pharmaceuticals
In April 2008 Almac Group, one of Ireland’s major employers, approached Stellar Leadership to design and deliver an ‘experienced managers programme’ for 60 of their leading managers. Working collaboratively with the in-house human resource team, the Unlocking Leadership Programme was tailored to suit the particular needs of the company and the industry.

Case Study: Third Sector
Richard O’Rawe of Stellar Leadership has been working with the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) over the past three years to deliver a bespoke Unlocking Leadership Programme for managers in the voluntary and community sector – the third sector. Arising from a wider management development initiative funded by Atlantic Philanthropies, the objective for Stellar was to design a leadership programme, with accreditation, that would have an immediate impact on working managers.
